Blues gain clearer path to Telles
Chelsea who are reportedly in the hunt for a left back have received a boost as target Alex Telles is no longer Paris Saint Germain’s main target according to Football London. The 27-year-old had one year remaining on his contract and his club Porto are keen to cash in for money whilst they still can as opposed to losing the defender on a free.
Blues boss Frank Lampard is believed to be keen on the Brazilian player following a season in which both Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri failed to make the position their own. PSG chief Leonardo was also said to be extremely keen on Telles but they are now said to be looking elsewhere due to Telles recently changed representative to Pini Zahavi, someone with strong connections to the Bridge.
