Antoine Griezmann has told Philippe Coutinho that he wants his No. 7 shirt at Barcelona.

It is another indicator that the Brazil international could be on his way out of the club.

The likes of Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with a transfer for the playmaker, but a return to Liverpool remains increasingly unlikely.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have moved on from the ex-Inter Milan star and his system would not accommodate a player based more on flair than robustness in midfield.

Coutinho is currently on loan to Bayern Munich but still has the No. 7 shirt at Barcelona.

Losing that top would indicate that his time at the Nou Camp has come to an end.
