“This I can get behind” – These Chelsea fans react to reported move for Brazil star

Chelsea fans are getting quite a few transfer rumours to take their minds of the current global pandemic going on right now, and it’s probably welcome considering the circumstances.

The latest big piece of news is that Chelsea are reportedly talking to the agent of former Liverpool player Philippe Coutinho, and are attempting to negotiate a loan deal for the Brazil star.

This is according to Spanish publication SPORT (cited by Sport Witness), who have close links to Barcelona.

They haven’t been the only source to suggest Coutinho to Chelsea could happen in the near future either. Over the weekend, the reliable Italian transfer guru Nicolo Schira also reported on it.

#Chelsea are in talks to sign Alex #Telles (Porto want €40M) and #Coutinho (also Tottenham are interested in him). The good relationship with their agents Pini Zahavi and Kia Joorabchian could help #Blues to finalize the deal. #transfers #CFC

Chelsea could well land themselves a very experienced and quality player, and you would have thought that a loan deal will be risk-free enough for them to pursue this.

So what do the Chelsea fans think of this potential move? They’ve had their say below…

Loan > Buy much better.

This would be an excellent deal, another Marina masterclass. Would like to see Option to buy included though. Low risk, potential to be high reward. Sign me up, let’s bring this lad back to the EPL. #CFC pic.twitter.com/KvYuhS9mUt

If it's a loan, it's the best move 100% back this

Now this I can get behind. Definitely prefer a loan

This would just be perfect. See what he can do for a season and decide after. Would be a brilliant signing.

On loan it would be a good deal and similar to Kovacic if it works out we can…
