There has already been many names linked with a summer move to Stamford Bridge ahead of the transfer window opening at the end of the season – whenever that may be.
Frank Lampard is said to have had funds made available to him in the offseason with names such as Jadon Sancho and Ben Chilwell heavily linked with big-money moves.
Hakim Ziyech has already joined from Ajax ahead of the window with the Morocco international becoming Lampard’s first signing as Chelsea boss.
Another creative player who has been linked with a move to the Blues is Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho, who has spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Bundesliga side Bayern Munich after failing to make a big impact at the Nou Camp following a big-money transfer in January 2018.

Reports suggested that Chelsea were the favourites to secure the Brazilian during the summer, but they do face competition from fellow Premier League sides, with Spanish football expert Guillem Balague claiming that ambitious Leicester City are the only team to have let their interest be known so far.
“The thing is, only Leicester have shown interest in Coutinho. Only Leicester,” he said on his YouTube channel .
“But I know that Coutinho’s representatives are looking into the Premier League with the possibility of getting him.”
Leicester’s interest could perhaps come as a surprise, but Coutinho did previously work under Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers during their time at Liverpool, with the Northern Irishman signing Coutinho from Inter Milan.
With a permanent move to Bayern Munich looking unlikely, it is reported in Spain that Barcelona could be willing to send the player out on another season-long loan that would include a mandatory purchase agreement at the end of the deal.
