Marco van Ginkel has revealed that there has been no contact with Chelsea over a new deal just yet.
The 27-year-old has been with the Blues since 2013, however has struggled to really make an impact during his time in west London.
The Netherlands international has spent time on loan at AC Milan, Stoke City and PSV, while serious injuries have really hampered his progress.
Van Ginkel has spent the entire 2019/20 campaign recovering from another injury, and his current contract is set to end at the conclusion on the season.

However, it is unlikely that the midfielder will get another deal and he has admitted there is no talk about it with the Blues just yet.
“We haven’t had contact about that yet, but other things are of course more important now,” he said. “I will hear it when the moment arrives.”
Of course, right now football is suspended as the world tries to battle the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Players, like the rest of the country, are being told to stay at home, however are allowed out once a day to exercise.
And Van Ginkel posted a video of himself on Instagram training at Stamford Bridge.

“The boys who live nearby can train in the stadium,” Van Ginkel added. “So this is ideal for me. You only have to train on your own, so it is a bit boring.
“But I also trained in a park and the field is a lot less there. It’s top notch in Stamford Bridge.”
