Chelsea face Juventus competition in Alex Telles transfer race

Chelsea are expected to make an approach for defender Alex Telles this summer, but they may face serious competition from Juventus.

Porto’s Brazilian left-back Telles is one of the most highly regarded players in his position, having been a core part of the Portuguese outfit for years.

Strong in defence but also daring in attack, Telles’ all-round play make him an exciting player and a seemingly perfectly balanced full-back.

Emerson and Marcos Alonso spent a lot of the season fighting for the spot, while Cesar Azplicueta then took it up after Reece James took his place on the right.
