Declan Rice has admitted that he would ‘love’ to play with Chelsea star Mason Mount at club level.

The West Ham midfielder was released by the Blues seven years ago but has remained friends with his former teammate since.

Rice has since forged a successful career at the London Stadium and has even forced his way into the England set-up in recent months.

And his performances has seen him linked with a move away from east London, with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United thought to be interested in signing him.

Mount, meanwhile, enjoyed productive loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem and Derby County before making the breakthrough with the Blues this season under the guidance of Frank Lampard.
