Sky Sports have launched “the football show,” in the absence of… football, and Frank Lampard was their first major guest.
He gave a really interesting interview, in his distinctive open and compelling style, covering all the topics from the Chelsea story this week.
That includes the sad news about the death of Peter Bonetti, the superb breakthrough of Billy Gilmour this season, and a more macro view of how Chelsea’s transfer business can be good enough to help them catch Man City and Liverpool.
It’s a good chat, especially in these dire times of no actual footy to watch, and talk of the summer window gets us excited for the conclusion of this season – and next season – even more than we already are.
