With the season on pause for the foreseeable future, Chelsea are already turning their attention to the summer transfer window and how they can help Frank Lampard improve his squad.
The Blues head coach has done well in his first season at the helm, making good on his promise to develop the young talent already at the club, handing more opportunities to youngsters such as Mason Mount, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Fikayo Tomori, Reece James and Billy Gilmour.
Hakim Ziyech was confirmed as the first new signing of the Lampard era and there will surely be more to follow in the coming months.

While established superstars obviously have their place in the transfer market, unearthing a diamond prospect can be just as beneficial for the long-term health of a team.
And though every Chelsea fan would love to see them sign Jadon Sancho, it is more interesting to have to dig a little deeper.
With that in mind, let’s take a look at the best prospects from across Europe’s big five leagues who you might not have heard of. There are 46 players who are no older than 20 and have played at least 1,000 minutes, and here are some of the more obscure gems from among them.
Dejan Kulusevski, Parma (on loan from Juventus)
Dejan Kulusevski spent the first half of the 2019/20 season on loan from his parent club, Atalanta.
His form was so impressive Juventus splashed out €35million (£31.7million) to secure his services in January, before loaning him back to Parma for the remainder of the campaign.
While it’s unlikely Chelsea would be able to pry him away from Juventus so soon after they signed him, they could convince the Italian giants to send him on loan in order to continue his development under Lampard.
