Eden Hazard has been named by Juan Mata as the best Premier League player.
The Manchester United star played with the Belgian during his time at Chelsea, with the two sharing a pitch over two seasons.
Despite their short time together, it was more than enough to convince the Spaniard that Hazard was the best in the business.
He told the United club website: ““The best Premier League player… I mean, I used to love to play with, and against, Eden Hazard.
“For me, for many years, he was the best in the league.
“He could win games by himself.”
Juan Mata has become a key figure at United over the past few seasons
Mata won the Europa League with Hazard in 2013 after beating Benfica in the final but the following season was ousted out by Jose Mourinho.
Since then, Hazard has also left Chelsea – last summer for Real Madrid, but his dream move has not gone to plan so far.
Mata added: “I used to train with him and I know how good he can be.
“He has been very unlucky in his time with Real Madrid with some injuries.
