West Ham are chasing Amiens striker Serhou Guirassy, according to the French club’s president.
Guirassy, 24, has scored nine goals in 23 games for the Ligue 1 side but is on the market this summer.
And Amiens president Bernard Joanin claims the Hammers have made it clear they want the £18.7m-rated centre forward.
He said: “There are several English clubs that want him, like West Ham who are very clear on that.
“There are other clubs, including offers from other French clubs. And if people make an offer at the right price I will allow Serhou to leave.”

West Ham are in the market for a striker as record buy Sebastien Haller has struggled in his debut Premier League season, scoring just seven goals.
Hammers boss David Moyes wants young, hungry players and hopes to build a British core by shopping for homegrown talent in the Championship.
But the club are also scouring the foreign market for players and first enquired about Guirassy in January.

Brighton failed with a bid for the Frenchman in the winter window, and he has also been scouted by Tottenham and Chelsea.
Joannin said: “In January we agreed terms with an English club and it is Serhou Guirassy – who is an exceptional character, with great values, he’s fantastic – he said to me: ‘Listen president, I want to stay at Amiens as I want to help my friends to survive this year.’
“So he stayed, he turned down a very lucrative contract with an English club.”
A former France Under 20 international, Guirassy is under contract until 2020 but has been offered to several clubs around Europe.
