Willian open to finishing the season
Chelsea midfielder William will carry on playing for the club – even if the Premier League season continues beyond the expiration of his contract.
According to The Athletic, the Brazilian is keen to stay at Stamford Bridge and ensure his time at Chelsea ends on high by helping Frank Lampard’s side qualify for next season’s Champions League.
The 31-year-old’s current deal is due to finish on June 30, but the Premier League campaign is set to resume next month, with play possibly continuing into July and potentially even August.

German youngster could be Hazard replacement, says Berbatov
Kai Havertz has the potential to replace Chelsea legend Eden Hazard at Stamford Bridge, Dimitar Berbatov believes.
Bayer Leverkusen attacker Havertz is one of the most sought-after young players in Europe, having scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 35 games so far this season.
Former Leverkusen striker Berbatov told Betfair : “There’s a lot of talk that Liverpool, Chelsea and other teams are interested in him, so now he needs to be careful, not let that go to his head and stay focused on his game.
“I think it is interesting to see Chelsea linked with him, they haven’t really replaced Hazard since he left and it was always going to be difficult to do so.”
The 20-year-old scored twice in his side’s 4-1 win over Werder Bremen on Monday night.
Lampard focuses on past to make a better future
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is determined to make his team even stronger – by focusing on previous performances.
