The 2019/20 Premier League campaign may not have yet reached its conclusion but speculation about the upcoming transfer window is most certainly gathering pace.
The window, in normal circumstances, would have been opening for business in England today (June 9) and clubs would have been free to put plans in place for the 2020/21 campaign getting under way in August.
However, this term, of course, has been heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, which has seen football in England suspended since mid-March.
Nevertheless, it has been all systems go on the transfer front as far as Chelsea are concerned.

The Blues, who will resume their Premier League campaign in a little under a fortnight’s time against Aston Villa at Villa Park, have identified their top targets for the forthcoming transfer window and are eager to get their signatures secured as soon as possible.
Football.london understands that Chelsea are “highly confident” that they will be able to trigger the £53million release clause in Timo Werner’s RB Leipzig contract before it expires on June 15, which is less than a week away.
As well as working hard on a deal to secure Werner’s signature, which would be a massive statement of intent by the Premier League top-four hopefuls, Chelsea have also identified Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, Borussia Dortmund and England star Jadon Sancho and Bayer Leverkusen attacking-midfielder Kai Havertz as concrete transfer targets.
Whilst Chelsea stand a genuine chance of securing a deal to sign left-back Chilwell in the upcoming transfer window, the likelihood of them being able to pull off a double swoop for Sancho and Havertz is highly unlikely.
