Werner to Chelsea “confirmed” by Broja

Chelsea youngster Armando Broja seems to have accidentally confirmed the signing of Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

The Blues have reportedly agreed a deal with the Bundesliga club over a move for Werner, who has a £50m release clause in his contract.

Broja was speaking on Instagram Live before saying that Werner is a good signing for the Blues after heavy speculation over the past few days.

“What do I think about Werner coming in? I think Werner is a really good player. He is really fast, strong, he can score a lot of goals,” Broja said on Instagram.

Dortmund admit frustration with Sancho

Borussia Dortmund have admitted they are losing patience with Jadon Sancho – who has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United – revealing he is “not easy” to deal with.

Sancho was fined last week for breaching lockdown rules after getting his hair cut and his reaction, by calling the decision an “absolute joke” on Twitter, landed him perhaps in deeper trouble.

Dortmund’s sporting director Michael Zorc has told SportBild that the England forward is not easy to handle sometimes.

“Jadon is not only an exceptional footballer who is noticeable on the pitch but now and also outside of the pitch. Sometimes it’s not easy for us,” Zorc said.
