Sky Sports prepare special Liverpool title show in case Man City don’t beat Chelsea

Liverpool are within touching distance of a first top-flight title in 30 years and after Jurgen Klopp’s side demolished Crystal Palace 4-0 last night they could actually be crowned champions tonight.

The runaway Premier League table leaders will be crowned champions if Manchester City fail to beat Chelsea on Thursday night at the Etihad.

And Sky Sports anchor David Jones said after the Palace win that a special programme will be shown on Sky Sports Main Event if Man City fail to beat Chelsea, which will be a Liverpool title winners special show.

The show will be aired at 10pm on Thursday night and millions of Reds fans around the globe are expected to tune in.

If Man City do beat Chelsea, then there will be a head-to-head showdown when Liverpool travel to Manchester City on Thursday, July 2.
