Bayer Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz is hopeful of keeping hold of Kai Havertz amid links to Chelsea but acknowledges he could depart.
Havertz has been heavily linked with a summer transfer to Stamford Bridge and potentially played his final Bundesliga game for Leverkusen as they beat Mainz in the last game of the season.
Bayer Leverkusen take on Bayern Munich in the DFB-Pokal final next weekend, before the completion of their Europa League campaign in August.
And Bosz is hoping Havertz stays at the club in time for the last-16 tie with Rangers later this summer, though admits he may depart.

The coach said: “I don’t feel that he is thinking too much about transferring. Neither are we. I certainly don’t have the impression that this will be his last game for the club.
“He is still under contract with us and I have to assume that he will be with us next season too.
“That will include the German Cup final next month and the next Europa League game against Rangers in August.

“Of course, that’s all dependent on nothing happening before then.”
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard recently insisted his club had not made a bid for Havertz.
The former Blues midfield said: “He’s a top player but we’re certainly not going to comment on players at other teams. It cannot be our focus. No bids have gone in.”
