Speaking of the Foxes, the Blues travel to the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon in an FA Cup quarter-final tie as Frank Lampard looks to win a piece of silverware in his first season as head coach.

Following the brilliant 2-1 win over Man City, our Chelsea writer Oliver Harbord gave his thoughts on some of the big talking points at Stamford Bridge right now during a Q&A with fans on Friday where he was asked questions on topics ranging from summer transfer targets to contract news.

Here is what he had to say about what is going on behind the scenes in west London.

Havertz and Koulibaly update?

Oliver Harbord says: “Good afternoon. At the moment there is no new update on the pair. There hasn’t been a bid for Havertz, but a real interest in him.

“As for Koulibably, the Blues don’t seem to be in for him right now.”

How come Willian’s contract is being extended instead of renewed?

Oliver Harbord says :”At the moment there is still a stand-off over the contract length with Willian.

“The Brazilian wants a three-year deal, but the club are only willing to give him two. It’s why Willian has only signed a deal until the end of the season.

“It’s becoming more unlikely that he will sign a new long-term deal.”
