Chelsea legend Joe Cole has hailed Frank Lampard for making a triple-change at half-time of the FA Cup clash against Leicester City.
The Blues struggled to get a foothold in the match during the first half and Lampard made wholesale changes, which proved to be effective after the restart.
Ross Barkley, one of those changes, scored the only goal of the game to send Chelsea into the semi-finals of the FA Cup, where they will discover their opponents later on Sunday night.
Cole believes that his willingness to make such big changes shows he his not afraid to make the major calls and praised his former team-mate.

“I think it was a great decision to do it. It wasn’t working in the first-half, the young lads as well, we’ve been there when you’re young, and on a run, and then in some games, it doesn’t work,” he told BT Sport.
“That’s the luxury that Frank has. He’s brought on three international players there. I think Barkley was excellent when he came on. Kovacic came on and kept the ball moving. I think Frank’s showing he is willing to make big decisions
