Chelsea manager Frank Lampard says he is currently weighing up a training plan for new signings Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech – with the pair set to officially join his side on Wednesday.
Lampard has already strengthened his squad with two world-class additions before the current campaign has even drawn to a close.
The Blues wrapped up a £36million deal for Ajax winger Ziyech back in February, before beating a number of European clubs to the £53million signing of RB Leipzig striker Werner earlier this month.
Ziyech has not been in action since early March due to the Dutch season’s curtailment, while Werner played his final game for Leipzig over the weekend.

Both men will officially become Chelsea players tomorrow, but Lampard admits he is still unsure what his plans are for them individually.
“I am in the process of arranging that plan now,” he said.
“You are right, they do become our players. They also are in different positions in the fact that Hakim hasn’t played for a long time because of the Dutch league situation and Timo finished at the weekend.

“We will formulate a plan for them, which will look slightly different individually, and I’ll decide in the meantime how it looks at Cobham, whether that means mixing with the squad or whether that means some physical work in the shorter term for themselves.”
When asked if it will be easier to integrate the pair into his squad in these circumstances, Lampard said: “Yeah, that will be up to how we arrange the plan.
