Barely a day goes by without a new Kai Havertz to Chelsea update.
After two barren transfer windows – one FIFA imposed the other self-imposed – Chelsea are getting back in business with a bang.
Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have already joined Frank Lampard’s Blues revolution for a combined total of more than £80million.
And there is plenty of speculation around who could join them, with Havertz and Ben Chilwell high on that list.
Twenty-one-year-old Havertz is likely to see that summer spending spree doubled if he does sign on the dotted line and he would represent quite the coup for the club, being one of the most sought-after young players on the continent.

There was breaking news from Stamford Bridge early on Wednesday, but it was not transfer news.
Instead it was news of the new 2020/21 home kit, with new sponsors Three on the front of the shirts.
The Blues will wear the new strip for their game at West Ham on Wednesday night and after revealing the new strip, the club posted a video on their social media channels of the kit being advertised on a big screen in central London.
It showed the likes of Willian, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount and Marcos Alonso in the new kit and led to plenty of comments about how it looks.
It also led to plenty of comments about new signings too.
Alongside questions about where Ziyech and Werner were, there were a deluge of fans calling for Havertz to be seen in the new shirt.
There was even one asking for the club to send a new shirt with Havertz on the back.
Will Chelsea secure his signing and make the fans’ dreams come true? Watch this space.
