Willian is facing an uncertain future as he looks set for a summer transfer.
The Brazilian star agreed a short-term extension with Chelsea to see out the current season but is likely to depart as the club refuse to give him a three year deal.
Arsenal have been amongst those linked with a move – and he sent a clear message to any interested parties with a two-goal showing against West Ham.
It was Willian who kept his cool to dispatch a penalty from 12 yards and give his side the lead, only for them to be pegged back with Tomas Soucek and Michail Antonio.
And with Frank Lampard’s side staring at defeat, he stepped up and fired a pinpoint free-kick beyond Lukasz Fabianski and in off the post.

But his dead ball expertise was evident in what was also a bright display.
With the transfer window around the corner, his performance no doubt served as a reminder of what he is capable of with his experience proving invaluable.
Chelsea are unwilling to break their policy for players over 30 by handing him the three-year deal he is keen for.
Arsenal, meanwhile, were reportedly ready to hand him a £250,000-a-week deal before the coronavirus pandemic struck.
That deal has been impacted by financial implications, but with Kia Joorabchian his agent there are clear links with the Gunners whilst his West Ham show will no doubt give Frank Lampard and the Chelsea board food for thought.
Speaking on June 1 about his client, Joorabchian said: “It’s a difficult moment right now, I understand and respect very much Chelsea’s policy of two-year extensions, and we need to find out what will happen at the end of this season first and then try and plan the future.
