When Frank Lampard’s Chelsea team will wear brand new Nike 2020/21 home kit for the first time

Chelsea have this morning unveiled their brand new Nike home shirt for the 2020/21 season.

However, Frank Lampard’s side won’t have to wait until next campaign to wear the new top for the very first time.

Following Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Leicester City in the FA Cup, the Blues return to action this evening as they make the trip across the capital to take on West Ham.

The game at the London Stadium will see the players wear the new strip for the first time.

With the previous Nike home design featuring a very bold pattern all across the kit, the latest one is inspired by west London’s long association with master tailors and their exquisite craftsmanship.

The kit is made up of a blue shirt, blue shorts, and white socks, with the shirt having a darker blue trim around the sleeves and the neck.

It also has dark blue running down the side of the shirt, with “pride of London” embossed on.
