Hakim Ziyech is officially a Chelsea player.
The Moroccan international signed for the Blues soon after the January transfer window closed, becoming Frank Lampard’s first transfer signing since joining the club as head coach.
But the Blues fans have had to wait to get a glimpse of him as he finished off what was left of the Eredivisie campaign with Ajax before officially becoming a Chelsea player on July 1.
There was much excitement as footage appeared on his Instagram page on Friday of him making his way to London.
And that has been confirmed by the club and Ziyech himself, with the playmaker taking part in his first training session as a Blues player.

He was, of course, not with the other first team players, who have made the trip to Sheffield to take on the Blades in the Saturday evening kick-off.
But Ziyech is ready to get going as a Chelsea player and sent a message to the supporters via his Instagram page.
Chelsea posted on their social media channels: “Welcome to Chelsea, Hakim,” with a photo of him preparing to start the session.
And afterwards, Ziyech said: “First session done for @chelseafc. Very excited and happy to be here and can’t wait to see you guys at the Bridge soon.”
