Willian has explained that he is missing Chelsea’s final Premier League clash of the season against Wolves due to injury.
It could mean the Brazilian has played his last game for the Blues with the forward out of contract at the end of the season.
Chelsea take on Arsenal in the FA Cup final next weekend amid hope that Willian will put pen to paper on a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
However he is not in the squad to face Wolves with Chelsea knowing a win will secure their spot in next season’s Champions League.

After the Blues team had been announced, Willian posted on social media: “I did treatment until the last minute to be able to be in the field, but this time, unfortunately, it will not be possible.
“I will be at Stamford Bridge supporting my teammates. Come on Chelsea!”
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard added: “Willian is injured, so I’ve had to adjusts. Christian [Pulisic] comes into the team [but] he would’ve played anyway the way he’s playing, he’s come off the back of his injury.”
Pundit Graeme Souness reckons Chelsea should stump up a three-year deal to keep hold of Willian.
It’s understood the Blues are only willing to offer an extra two years though Willian is eager to secure his future for longer.
Souness said: “I think he’s their best player. He wants a three-year [deal], they’ve offered two. I’d be giving it to him.
