Frank Lampard has finally lost his patience with club record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Most sources are in agreement now that the Spanish international’s fate is all but sealed at Stamford Bridge, and that Lampard and the club are now working on potential replacements.
Sky Sports say that the Blues boss has compiled his shortlist, and they name three of them.
Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid, Nick Pope of Burnley, and Andre Onana of Ajax.
The latter would be the two cheapest options, and Oblak is seen as a very difficult signing to pull off.
But Lampard clearly wants a more dominant goalkeeper who he can totally rely on after losing total faith in Kepa throughout a number of poor displays this season.
Chelsea need to sure up the defence this summer, and it looks like this is the area that Lampard is looking to tackle first.
Next in line could be another centre back.
