Timo Werner joins Chelsea squad on pitch in full tracksuit ahead of FA Cup final

Chelsea signing Timo Werner was seen alongside his new team-mates on the Wembley pitch ahead of the FA Cup final with Premier League rivals Arsenal.

Werner joined the Blues from RB Leipzig earlier this summer though is not able to play for Chelsea until the new campaign.

Though that’s not stopping Frank Lampard’s new striker getting involved with Werner seen in full Chelsea tracksuit ahead of the Cup final.

He was spotted on the Wembley pitch alongside the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham.

Werner will provide competition to Abraham and Olivier Giroud as the focal point of Chelsea’s attack next season.

Though Giroud insists he is not worried about his position in the squad, saying: “When the teams play a defensive way against us, it’s not bad to have a tall striker like me that can make the link. But I am not naive.

“Werner hasn’t been recruited to sit on the bench. But I will do everything I can to give headaches to the coach when it comes to making his choice.
