N’Golo Kante

It’s been a frustrating campaign for the Frenchman, with injuries having really curtailed his game time over the course of the season.

Once again, the 29-year-old picked up a hamstring problem in the win over Watford on July 4, and he hasn’t featured since for the Blues.

However, before the Wolves match, Kante was back in training and he was on the bench for the FA Cup final.

But he didn’t get on the pitch and Lampard might not want to rush him if he is still struggling.

The American has been massive for the Blues since the Premier League’s restart and has been one of the best players in the side.

He scored in the final, and looked set to score again before he picked up his hamstring injury in the second half.

The winger is set to miss the game at the weekend and the Blues will be hoping to have him back for the start of the next season.
