Willian on the verge of Arsenal transfer with ‘all agreements reached’

Willian appears to have edged ever closer to move across London from Chelsea to Arsenal.

The Blues attacker is out of contract at Stamford Bridge but may not have to leave the capital, with Mikel Arteta ‘s side in hot pursuit.

Arsenal have been ahead of the chasing pack, which features the likes of Barcelona and Inter Miami, since the beginning of the transfer saga.

And it may only be a matter of time before the 31-year-old is announced as a Gunner.

French outlet Le10 Sport are reporting that Willian is on the verge of a move after all agreements were reached between the parties involved.

There will be no transfer fee but the player will take home £120,000-a-week at the Emirates.

The report says all terms are agreed, including signing on fee and a fee for every agent involved.

A host of outlets have reported that Arsenal have offered the 31-year-old a three-year deal.

But Willian is said to want the option of a further year extension to be added into his Emirates deal should he decide to switch London clubs.

A source told France Football on Tuesday: “Things are very advanced.”

However, Le10 Sport are reporting that Willian’s current Arsenal offer is for two years.

Regardless of the length of the deal, it is clear the Brazilian winger wants to move to Arsenal.

Daily Star Sport last night reported that Willian had told friends that his desire was to join the Gunners.

Discussing a potential Chelsea exit earlier this summer, the veteran admitted he was unsure where his future lay.
