Frank Lampard talks Willian and will have “no disappointment” if Arsenal target goes

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is ready to lose Willian with Arsenal poised to sign the Brazilian soon.

A free transfer is on the cards for the 31-year-old after the Blues failed to agree terms over a contract extension at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard won’t have Willian available for Saturday night’s Champions League round of 16 second leg away to Bayern Munich.

The Chelsea star is still carrying a minor injury which also saw him miss the FA Cup final defeat to Arsenal last weekend.

His deal is about to expire, and speaking on the latest regarding Willian’s situation, Lampard said: “I read a headline that mentioned disappointment. That doesn’t matter.

“Willian remains our player at the moment, he is injured. He’d have given everything to play.
