Norwich City are eyeing a loan deal for Chelsea youngster Ethan Ampadu.
A report by the Press Association news agency on Sunday night claims that the Canaries are in talks to sign the 19-year-old on loan.
The Blues are reported to be ready to give the green light for the youngster to head to Norwich in a bid to secure more game time following a frustrating loan deal to RB Leipzig.
Ampadu joined Frank Lampard’s Chelsea from Exeter in 2017 but is yet to make a Premier League breakthrough for the London club.

The Welsh international spent last season on loan at Leipzig, but a lack of game time meant he suffered a frustrating loan spell in the Bundesliga.
A back problem also kept him sidelined last season and Leipzig said in June that he was “slowly reintroduced to training”.
“There’s been a lot of frustration at times; however, I’ve learned a lot through those frustrations which will only help me later in my career,” Ampadu previously told The Athletic when addressing the frustration of a lack of game time.
“I’ve not played as many games as I’d have liked to but in the games I’ve played in, I think I’ve done reasonably well. That’ll give me confidence, but I’ve things to learn from.
“If I’m honest, it’s not been as good as I hoped, not all that I wanted it to be. But I hope technically I’ve improved and, tactically, I’ve now played under another manager.
“So I’ve learned another style of football and how another manager thinks football should be played.”
