Thiago Silva is in Lisbon this evening, hoping to captain his PSG side to their first ever Champions League title.
The Brazilian veteran looks destined to leave the Ligue 1 giants, regardless of the result against Bayern Munich this evening – with his contract expiring after tonight’s showpiece in the Portuguese capital.
Silva has made more than 300 appearances for PSG, winning a Ligue 1 title every season since arriving from AC Milan.
But his next club could be Chelsea, who want to offer the defender a two-year deal.
Frank Lampard sees the 35-year-old as a cut-price solution to the Blues’ defensive woes.

French outlet Telefoot Chaine have reported that Silva has put Stamford Bridge at the top of his list.
However, the player may still have offers elsewhere.
Reports suggest Fiorentina are angling for a free transfer.
And there is even talk of PSG offering their skipper a new deal, which would appeal to Silva.

French football expert Julien Laurens has explained why Chelsea are in the race – but not certain to land their transfer target.
“Thiago Silva is an interesting one,” Laurens told ESPN.
“I think there’s other clubs, plenty of clubs, who have made offers for him.
“Fiorentina being another one, clubs in Brazil, I think even PSG are still thinking about maybe offering him another year or a one-plus-one sort of contract, especially if he wins the Champions League on Sunday night.

“So I think this one would be quite challenging for Chelsea, far more than Havertz and Chilwell because Chelsea are the only club right now in for Chilwell and Havertz and ready to pay that kind of money for those kinds of transfers.”
As well as Silva, Chelsea are also chasing Ben Chilwell and Kai Havertz.
Both men are expected to arrive at Stamford Bridge in the coming weeks.
