Frank Lampard calls up wonderkids to Chelsea training as Kai Havertz transfer delay is explained

Chelsea have continued their recruitment drive by signing Thiago Silva as the Blues aim to challenge for the Premier League title during the 2020/21 season.

Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner’s deals were agreed before the summer window began and now the likes of Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Silva have been acquired, though Sarr will be loaned out.

Kai Havertz is expected to eventually complete a move to Stamford Bridge and there is plenty of news and rumours floating around ahead of the new season next weekend.

Griezmann’s praise for Chelsea target

Antoine Griezmann has told Chelsea who to sign after they eventually complete their move for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.

The Blues are eager to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer and have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid star shot-stopper Jan Oblak.

Griezmann explained a couple of years ago exactly why Chelsea should sign the 27-year-old.
