Ben Chilwell has been a Chelsea player for just under a week now and he’s already getting to know his new teammates.
The England international’s £50m move from Leicester City saw him become the Blues third – of five – signing of the summer transfer window thus far.
However, he did not make his debut alongside Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner in the pre-season friendly against Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend because of injury.

Chilwell is recovering from a heel problem that saw his miss 2019/20 season run-in with the Foxes, but offered an encouraging update on his progress last week.
“I’m feeling really good,” he told the club’s official website.
“The injury is healing really well and I’ve been doing a lot of fitness work over the past four or five weeks.”
Luckily, Chilwell has some company in the treatment room at Cobham in the shape of Blues wonderkid Billy Gilmour.
The youngster’s breakthrough season was also curtailed by injury and has undergone surgery to fix a knee problem.
“He had an operation on his knee this morning so will be out for somewhere between three and four months, unfortunately,” Frank Lampard said. “I’m very disappointed, Billy is.
“I spoke to him yesterday at length and given him support. He’s a tough boy. It’s hit him hard as a younger player who made a breakthrough in recent times.”
As both players are recovering from injuries, it’s afforded them time to bond.
And Chilwell posted an image on to his Instagram stories of him and Gilmour, with a message that Blues fans will love.
“@billygilmour, what a guy,” he wrote.
