Frank Lampard will be hoping that Kai Havertz is going to make a big impact at Chelsea.
The Blues confirmed the deal for 21-year-old on Friday and the Germany international has been working on his own at Cobham.
The majority of Chelsea’s first team squad are either on international duty or injured, so preparation is not going to be easy for Lampard.
Havertz has shown himself to be one of the brightest talents in European football and his statistics during his time in the Bundesliga have been superb.

Last season, he scored he scored 12 goals and added six assists, added to the 17 Bundesliga goals he scored in the campaign before.
Havertz is expected to fit well into Lampard’s side and will give some real added threat to the Blues going forward.
But also one of the areas where Havertz could well help fix is Chelsea’s inability to defend from set pieces.
It was one of the areas where Chelsea struggled last season, with the away defeat to West Ham being the highlight of how they struggled.
What Havertz also brings to the team besides his obvious talent, is the fact that he adds more height.
The young German stands at six foot two inches, giving the Blues something extra in both boxes.
Lampard hinted that he would also sign players who added more height as a way of trying to solve their set-piece issues.
“We’ve looked at set pieces this season,” Chelsea’s head coach said last season.
“When we came into the club we looked at the stats from last season. Last season we were bottom of the league defending set plays, in terms of teams getting big chances against us, and second bottom in attacking. We haven’t improved much this year.
