Marina Granovskaia is close to completing Chelsea’s seventh summer transfer

Chelsea have been one of the busiest clubs in Europe in the summer transfer window, with the Blues strengthening across the pitch.

Despite a promising Premier League campaign which saw Frank Lampard’s side seal a top four place, the Blues’ season ended with a sour taste.

Defeat to Arsenal in the FA Cup final was followed by elimination to eventual winners Bayern Munich in the Champions League, with Lampard admitting afterwards that he learnt a lot about his squad.

But the Blues have backed their head coach in the window, with no less than six major signings already sealed ahead of the 2020/21 season.
