Germany and Bayern legend Philipp Lahm has taken a look, providing teams with a little advice based on what he has seen at former club Bayern. who are coming off the back of a treble-winning season, claiming the Bundesliga title and the Champions League, as well as Germany’s domestic cup.

In a LinkedIn article, Lahm wrote: “The most important reason can be summarized very briefly: Hansi Flick managed to establish the valid hierarchy in the team with just a few changes. The measure was successful right from the start – and has become more focused with each subsequent game.

“What does it mean to establish hierarchy? The coach has put his faith in a system of tried and tested players.

“Above all, Manuel Neuer in goal. He is preceded by Jerome Boateng and David Alaba, who have been playing for FC Bayern for years, know the game and are full of self-confidence.
