It’s been no secret that Chelsea have strengthened heavily over the summer transfer window ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
The Blues have so far made five signings who are set to make an impact in the starting XI, while they also brought in Malang Sarr, who will go out on loan.
Chelsea’s business might not be ended there, with the Blues aiming to bring in goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and potentially West Ham’s Declan Rice.
But with the deals they have done already, there is now a wealth of talent throughout Frank Lampard’s squad.

The question is now on what Lampard’s best squad will be for the campaign, if everyone is fit and raring to go.
With Mendy not yet over the line, Kepa Arrizabalaga still remains the number one, despite being dropped towards the end of last season.
In centre-back, Thiago Silva should be in the heart of the defence, while Kurt Zouma is now the front runner of Lampard’s current options.
At left-back, there is no doubt that Ben Chilwell will be the main man, giving the Blues more balance in both attack and defence on the flank.
The big question will be right-back, with Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta once again vying for the role moving forward.
James would likely get the nod for his ability on the attacking front, and his partnership with Hakim Ziyech could be very important.
In a 4-2-3-1 formation, the partnership of N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic could bring the best balance for the Blues and provide support to the back four.
Where Lampard fits in all his new forwards is going to be the interesting decision for the Blues boss, with a plethora of talent now at his fingersteps.
