Latest Chelsea transfer rumours: Olivier Giroud sends message to Juventus, Declan Rice update

Chelsea’s Premier League season begins on Monday evening, but off the pitch their summer spending spree is not done yet.

Giroud clears up stance

Olivier Giroud has dismissed claims he wants to leave Chelsea and join Juventus.

“Italians, they get carried away quickly,” Giroud told Telefoot when asked about reports in the Italian media.

“I was surprised to receive messages from friends this morning telling me about this rumour.

“That’s far from being the case. I am a Chelsea player and I feel good here.
