Blues midfielder set for loan move

Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher is set to join West Bromwich Albion on loan for the season after signing a new deal at Stamford Bridge, football.londonunderstands.

Gallagher looked set to move to Crystal Palace on loan before Michy Batshuayi joined the London-based club, and the Premier League’s rules are that a team is only allowed to sign one player on a temporary deal from another club.

Newly-promoted West Brom entered the race to sign the England Under-21 international, and it looks like they have secured the deal.
