Chelsea receive double injury boost as two signings spotted in training ahead of Liverpool clash

Chelsea have been handed a boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Blues opened their account for the season with a 3-1 win over Brighton at the AMEX Stadium on Monday night, thanks to goals from Jorginho, Reece James and Kurt Zouma.

Summer signings Kai Havertz and Timo Werner made their full debuts on the south coast, with Werner winning the penalty for Chelsea’s first goal.

But Blues head coach Frank Lampard was without several of his key players for the game, with Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva, Ben Chilwell all missing through injury or lack of fitness.
