Genoa eye Blues outcast

Chelsea defender Davide Zappacosta is attracting interest from Italian outfit Genoa, according to Sportitalia, via Inside Futbol.

The Italian defender spent last season on loan at Serie A giants Roma and it is seems highly likely that he will return to his homeland once more.

The 28-year-old, who joined the Blues back in 2017, has been linked with no shortage of Italian clubs, including Fiorentina.

However, it remains to be seen whether Genoa would pursue a permanent deal for the defender or a loan move.
