Kepa Arrizabalaga has aimed a subtle dig at Chelsea boss Frank Lampard following his appearance for Spain on Wednesday.

The Blues stopper kept a clean sheet, keeping out Portugal attackers at bay during the 0-0 draw.

Kepa clearly enjoyed his time between the sticks, somewhere he may not find himself in Chelsea colours for a little while after the arrival of Edouard Mendy.

His future at Stamford Bridge is under threat following shaky performances in recent months.

And Kepa took aim at Chelsea following last night’s draw, saying he’s felt confident while on international duty after his recent club snub.

“I’ve felt confidence, at ease [with the national side],” Arrizabalaga said at full-time.

“I think it was a good game and I’m happy with the confidence of the coach.

“When I’m needed to help on the pitch, I try to do the best possible.

“It was a game of great intensity. [We had] more control in the first half.
