Erling Haaland release clause and details revealed, as well as the interested clubs » Chelsea News

Last week Twitter blew up with rumours linking Chelsea to signing Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

We have no idea where they surfaced from, but the claims were that transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported it.

Well, he didn’t. And he has confirmed this in his latest Podcast, Here We Go.

He did say that Chelsea could end up as a team being interested, but for now there is nothing between Chelsea and Haaland, and Chelsea are putting all their eggs in the Timo Werner basket.

Haaland has a release clause, and Romano has revealed that this is set at 75 million euros, but it is not valid until another two years. So any interested clubs will not be able to trigger the clause just yet.

Who are those interested clubs? Well, Chelsea could have a distant interest, but Romano believes that it is Real Madrid or Juventus who are more likely to get Haaland when his clause can be activated.

Nothing between Chelsea and Erling Haaland at the moment, according to @FabrizioRomano on Here We Go Podcast.

Haaland’s 75 million euro release clause is not valid for two years. Juventus and Real Madrid are interested.
