Chelsea and Man United fans in full agreement over what Bruno Fernandes did to Jorginho

Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Manchester United has been largely uneventful so far.

However, there has been one flashpoint in the first-half which has managed to unite both sets of supporters on social media as a possible red card situation was avoided.

In the 20th minute at Old Trafford, Sky Sports cameras showed a replay of a coming together between Jorginho and Bruno Fernandes.

The latter clearly raises his hands to the Blues midfielder’s face, more grabbing him across the neck, but the incident wasn’t spotted by the referee Martin Atkinson.

Furthermore, it doesn’t appear that VAR checked the clash and thePortugal international avoided the same fate teammate Anthony Martial suffered in United last home game.

The Frenchman was sent off for violent conduct in the 6-1 home loss against Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the month for lightly hitting Erik Lamela, who went down very easily.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wasn’t happy with the Spurs player.

“For me of course two emotions on it really. Well done to Anthony for not going down and for not trying to con the referee to send Lamela off,” Solskjaer said. “Anthony knows he cannot react like this, but it’s an absolute joke for me that a lad can go down like that.

“If that was my son he would live on water and bread for two weeks. That’s not how I want my players to react.”
