Chelsea fans noticed what happened to Eden Hazard after making his Real Madrid return

Eden Hazard is back in action for Real Madrid and some Chelsea fans are very happy.

The 29-year-old’s 2020/21 season has been disrupted by injury, but made his first appearance of the campaign on Tuesday night as Los Blancos drew 2-2 with Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League.

Named in Zinedine Zidane’s matchday squad for the first time this season, the former Chelsea forward managed to get 20+ minutes under his belt at Borussia-Park as he looks to build up his match sharpness.

Speaking ahead of the game, the Los Blancos boss admitted that he was delighted to have Hazard available for selection again.

“We are all happy to see him with us,” Zidane said ahead of the game. “Tomorrow we will see how we are going to use him. It is very positive news for us.

“We know that the season is long and we are going to need everyone. It is true, I have always said it, because they are players who always play.

“It is true that we have had problems on the wing but there are other players who can replace them and it will not give us problems.”

With his side facing a problem on the scoreline – 2-0 down in Germany – Zidane sent Hazard on in place of Vinicius Junior as part of a double change and the bold gamble paid off.

Karim Benzema and Casemiro rescued a point for Madrid with goals inside the final five minutes.
