Chelsea have been handed a late blow ahead of their Premier League game with Burnley after Christian Pulisic suffered an injury in the warm up at Turf Moor.
The American was named in the starting XI for the match against the Clarets, however he picked up a knock in the preparation and had to pull out with a muscle issue.
The 22-year-old was replaced with Timo Werner in the team, who was originally named on the bench and expected to get a bit of a rest.
Young goalkeeper Karlo Ziger took his spot on the substitutes’ bench, even though the Blues already had shotstopper Willy Caballero on the bench.

Pulisic has struggled with injuries over the course of his time with Chelsea, missing large chunks of the 2019/20 campaign.
He also had a hamstring injury in the FA Cup final, meaning that he missed the start of this season and had only recently got back to full fitness.
The Blues take on Rennes on Wednesday night and Frank Lampard will be hoping to have the winger back for that match at Stamford Bridge.
