Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has heaped praise on the Blues’ newest superstar, Hakim Ziyech, after today’s 3-0 win at Burnley.
Ziyech netted the opener, adding to his debut strike against Krasnodar in the Champions League earlier this week.
Two goals in his first two competitive starts means the former Ajax man is the first player to achieve this feat since Diego Costa.
His arrival over the summer had fans excited but injury meant a delayed start to life in England, with the Moroccan star only playing one pre-season friendly.
But Frank Lampard is delighted with Ziyech’s start to his Chelsea career, praising his work-rate off the ball as well as his flair play.

“I’m really impressed and really excited,” the boss said after today’s 3-0 win.
“I could see his personality and work-rate off the ball, he has that. You saw that today.
“That bit of quality gives us something different.”
Chelsea are flying of late and seem to have solved the defensive problems that plagued them at the start of the season.
But Lampard knows he must continue to demand the best from his players due to the nature and unpredictability of the Premier League.
“It was a very complete performance from us. It’s a difficult place to come,” he added.
“They make it very difficult for teams and they’ve been unlucky in games. We controlled massive parts of the game, so I’m very happy.
“I was always aware at the start of the season that it wasn’t going to be easy.
