Chelsea made a handful of top quality signings this summer, and they have all made a positive instant impact since arriving.
There is not one player who has not proved his worth so far, even though they will all feel we have yet to see their very best yet.
But they’ve come in and settled well, gelling with their new team mates and being part of a Chelsea team off the back of a very successful run of form currently.
If you asked a Chelsea fan who has been the best signing so far, you are bound to get many different answers. This is because they have all staked a good claim to be that title.
One who has certainly been right up there so far is winger Hakim Ziyech. The Moroccon international had to wait to play due to injury, but he’s exploded onto the scene in the last few matches.
His team mate, Mason Mount, has described him as “world-class” in an interview reported by The Telegraph, and it is hard to argue.
“He is a brilliant player,” said Mount. “He comes into the team and he knows what he can bring with his quality left foot. He brings something new to the team which is brilliant for us. The gaffer always speaks about having the competition to keep our standard high and Hakim is a world-class player coming in.”
