USA coach gives Pulisic injury update
USA head coach Gregg Berhalter has revealed Christian Pulisic’s injury is being treated as a “day-to-day” matter.
The 22-year-old winger has missed Chelsea’s last three games in all competitions after suffering a hamstring problem in the warm-up prior to the Blues’ win over Burnley.
Pulisic was still called up for international duty ahead of his country’s friendly against Wales on Thursday and travelled despite being unable to feature.

“Christian is in camp and he is listed as day-to-day,” Berhalter told Fox Sport. “It says a lot about Christian that he wasn’t playing for Chelsea but wanted to come into this camp and be around the team. His status is day-to-day.”
What Lampard has said about Giroud’s Chelsea future
Olivier Giroud could look to leave Chelsea in pursuit of more game time amid interest from Inter, football.london understands.
The 34-year-old striker has played a total of just 33 minutes in the Premier League this term, despite signing a new one-year contract at the end of last season.
And Lampard has addressed the Frenchman’s future on several occasions.
“He has given a typically great response to train as well as possible and support the group,” Lampard said of Giroud last week.
