Chelsea boss Frank Lampard and his assistant Jody Morris are reportedly big admirers of West Ham star Declan Rice.
Rice has again been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge having impressed in east London under David Moyes.
Lampard strengthened his Blues squad during the summer though could be busy again when the window opens in January.
Rice, 21, has played every minute of West Ham’s Premier League campaign to date with the Hammers having won three times so far.
And Football Insider report that Lampard and Morris are big fans of Rice.
It’s claimed the Chelsea duo like the fact Rice can play in defence and central midfield, and they believe he has the potential to play at the highest level.

Chelsea legend Ashley Cole recently praised England ace Rice, saying: “I think Rice can step in, in midfield. He’s been very good for West Ham.
“He’s definitely a key player for West Ham. What he brings is, he can tackle, he can break up play, he’s clever and he can pass.
“You want him to be brave on the ball, break things up, but then penetrate through lines with the quality pass that he’s got.

“He’s a big strong lad, and he’s not afraid to put himself about and win tackles. He’s going to be integral for this team going forward.”
On his own attributes, Rice said: “I think, if you look at the top players who drove their teams forward, your Patrick Vieiras, your Yaya Toures, I feel powerful and I feel strong enough to make those surging runs forward.
